A sweet little throne room sketch for Garion's throne room. The bears are a symbol of Cherek, a nation that is a protector of Riva. I'm a neeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrdddd.

Future People

Sketches for a Lifestyle Illustration project. We have to create a lords and ladies pair of images set in the year 2161. I reworked the guy in a bigger picture because I didn't like the small one. The idea is that by 2161 we have created a new ice age and there is a lot of UV radiation. So clothes now incorporate Shadeplex, a fabric that acts as solar panels to gather energy. Its totally real stuff too!

A Night Out

Here is my "A Night Out" project for lifestyles. I'm experimenting with a limited palette to kind of break free from my normal obsessive coloring. The woman is wearing Etro and the man is wearing Steven Alan.

This illustration is for the Words on Wheels project. All the students in my Concepts 2 class we given poems written by youngsters to illustrate. These illustrations will be on posters on city buses.

Paper Dolls Dr. Nimbus Style

These are my first passes at my paper dolls for Lifestyle Illustration. We will be dressing these characters in designer clothes throughout the semester. After crit it has been suggested that I experiment with changing the body type of the left figure and maybe refine the female figure as well.

T-Post Designs

Pretty interesting assignment. We had to design a t-shirt illustration for this website called T-Post Magazine. They take news stories and print the illustration on the outside and the story on the inside. I think it let me flex my graphic design muscles a little. I chose the story about the Large Hadron Collider that will continue to run to 2012 instead of stopping at 2011. Ill fix the spelling errors before class.

This is my character design for Garion. Still not 100% satisfied with his face and I bombed on the sword so Ill come back to it later since its due in....an hour. I threw in a quick sketch of the wolf pendant he wears around his neck.
