C'Nedra Revamp

I worked on C'Nedra some more. I dig it.

Garion Revamp

So I reworked Garion to fit with the other characters I've made in the more painterly style. Um fuck faces. I hate faces. My goal for the summer is to get bad ass with faces because I can't have anymore of this wonky does-it-have-a-mental-disorder face bullshit. But other than that, I'm happy with it.

Barak Final

Okie dokie! Here is Barak and his transformed bear form. Wooo!

Barak Thumbs

This is Barak. He is a berserker who accompanies the rest of the protagonist's party. He is super war like, but is also quite sensitive. He is also tormented by his prophecy that names him as The Great Bear. He does actually transform into a bear any time Garion is in trouble as an uncontrollable reaction. His whole bloodline is burdened with this curse.

C'Nedra

Final renders of C'Nedra

C'Nedra Thumbnails

This is C'Nedra from the same story I've been working on this semester. She is the wife of Garion and leads a giant army against the forces of evil. The prophecy calls her "The Queen of the World". She is timid but strong and wears a suit of gold armor to boost the moral of her troops.

Elderly Fat Wizard

We had a random character generator and mine read " Mysterious elderly wizard who has a huge appetite." We were asked to make this character in a different style than the other things we have been working on.

Silk Final

Here is my final for Silk. I forced myself to paint and I'm pretty happy with the results. There are probably many ways I can cut time down on the process just by practice and such, but for now it's taking forever. Yay for pushing myself!

Garions Throne Room Revamp

Here is the second sketch of the throne room. With perspective!

Silk Sketches

Here are some sketches from the thumbs. I also tossed in a sketch of the Ulgo dagger he likes to use to intimidate people.

Silk Thumbnails

Thumbs for my next character in the story Silk. He is a world traveling merchant/spy/assassin, and prince of Drasnia. He's also known as Prince Kheldar, Radek of Boktor, and some others.

Garions Throne Room

A sweet little throne room sketch for Garion's throne room. The bears are a symbol of Cherek, a nation that is a protector of Riva. I'm a neeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrdddd.

Torak Completed

Here he is! Mr dark god himself.

Torak with Color Thumbs

Here are my designs for Torak. This is another character from the Belgariad by David Eddings. He's an evil handsome insane dark god....yeah.

Garion's Face

Here is Garion's face. I really need to work on my face drawing skills. It's on the list.

Garion With Color

Garion with colors now.

Garion Again and Color Thumbs

This is my character design for Garion. Still not 100% satisfied with his face and I bombed on the sword so Ill come back to it later since its due in....an hour. I threw in a quick sketch of the wolf pendant he wears around his neck.

Garion Sketches

Character concepts for Garion from The Belgariad, a book series by David Eddings. I was trying to work in some contemporary fashion in my designs, but I think I did more of a costume design than a character design so that's next on the agenda.
