Dr. Nimbus Concept

Here are the first Dr. Nimbus concepts.

Knight Rescue

This was an exercise in for my Sequential Art class. The idea was to have a character acquire something.

Embarrassing Story

This was a comic we had to do about an embarrassing story that another student in the class wrote about themselves. Apparently, this guy and his friend Karl totally geeked out over some motorbike riders that were popping wheelies down North Ave. and got laughed at by everyone who was watching. I'm not showing the colored version because I think it's probably one of the worst (if not the worst) color decisions I've ever made. Still exploring the whole stretchy body thing.

Dr. Nimbus vs The Amphibandits

Dr. Nimbus, Bringer of Doom, is in search of the Time Oasis on Aridion in hopes of turning back the clock to the point before he created the black hole that turned the universe inside out. Locals have warned him of a roaming band of thieves called the Amphibandits, but he isn't too worried.

Dr. Nimbus vs The Octolob

Dr. Nimbus, The Great Un-maker, is on his way to Onionon 6 to speak with a mysterious race of all knowing aliens. Maybe they could tell him of any hope there was of bringing back they universe that once was. But first he has to stop on the moon of Onionon 6 for some important business.

Dr. Nimbus Adrift in Space

Dr. Nimbus, Destroyer of the Universe, finds himself adrift in the endless void. With his SuperJet jet pack out of fuel, he spends his time contemplating. Where did his experiment go wrong? Would he ever succeed in restoring the galaxy?

Brad vs Brendan from Brick

This is a re-shoot of the fight scene from the movie Brick. Awesome movie. If you haven't seen it, you really should. I was experimenting with a limited palette and how far I could stretch a body without breaking it. It was fun.
